Please keep in mind that your leader has the right to change or change out any part of the itinerary if they
think it's necessary for your safety. We will make every effort to adhere to the above itinerary; However, we
cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from this adventure because it involves traveling in remote
mountainous areas. Weather, a group member's health, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all influence
itinerary modifications. The journey chief will attempt to guarantee that the excursion runs as expected, yet
kindly be ready to be adaptable whenever required.

Best Time to Travel & Weather Condition
The best times to go on an Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return are considered to be spring
(March to May) and autumn (mid-September to November). The weather conditions stay dry and clear
during these times, making it ideal for journeying and appreciating unhindered perspectives on mountains.

The nights are chilly, but the days are warm. On the disadvantage, notwithstanding, these are top seasons,
and the paths become busy and occupied.
The hillsides are covered in wildflowers, including rhododendron blooms, in the spring. Everest Base Camp is
also transformed into a tent city during the climbing season, home to climbers and Sherpa guides.
The most popular time to trek to Everest Base Camp is in autumn. You can take pleasure in crystal-clear views
during this time because the wet monsoon season has come to an end, clearing the skies of dust and other
impurities. If you go on your trek in October, you can attend Mani Rimdu, the most important festival in the
Everest region. Tengboche, Chiwong, and Thame monasteries host this celebration.
Helicopter Flight
To save you time and effort, as well as the disappointment of flight delays or cancellations, all flight transfers
will be by helicopter. You will trek to Everest Base Camp, but instead of making the long trek back, you will fly
to Lukla by helicopter instead. As you get close to some of the world's highest peaks and glaciers, helicopter
flights could be the best and most memorable aerial experience of your life.
On Day 2 of your trip, you will travel from Kathmandu, the bustling capital city, to Everest Region, the world's
highest trekking destination, via a 30-minute flight to Lukla (2,840m). Tenzing-Hillary Airport, one of the
world's highest and most extreme airports, is where your flight lands. Over a cliff, the airport is built on a
narrow plateau.
The climate here is erratic and frequently varies, as it is surrounded by some of the world's highest peaks.
One minute it would be sunny and clear, and the next, clouds would appear, making everything hazy. Only
when the weather is stable and there is clear visibility can flights take off. On Day 10, you descend to Gorak
Shep and board a helicopter following your hike to Kala Patthar. You will be traveled to Lukla first for a
concise visit and afterward, proceed to Kathmandu.
Note: It's possible that your flight will be canceled if the wind becomes choppy or the weather becomes too
bad to fly in. Your trip may be extended by one or two days if this occurs. So come ready and keep cradle
days so you may not miss your global flight.
Entry Permits & Requirements
The Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit and the Khumbu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit are the two
permits required for the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return.
You won't need a TIMS (Tourist Information Management System) card for this trek, unlike other treks in the
Nepal Himalayas.
The Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit can be purchased for NRS 3000 at the park's Monjo entrance gate
or at the Nepal Tourism Board's office in Kathmandu. For residents of SAARC nations, the charge is NRS 1500.
The permit application must be completed and your passport or a passport copy must be presented.
You must be in Lukla to obtain the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit. You need to
pay NRS 2000 for the grant at the country region counter, which lies at the edge of the town.
The company or our guides will arrange all of the permits for you, so you won't have to worry about waiting
in line.

Altitude Sickness & Acclimatization

Keep in mind that you will be trekking to the Everest Region, the highest point on Earth. 5550 meters above
sea level is your highest elevation. Because there is less oxygen in this environment, breathing may be a little
challenging.
To allow your body to become accustomed to the slender air, you really want to walk gradually and
consistently and keep your body hydrated. If you try to rush and walk quickly to get to your destination
faster, you might get AMS or acute mountain sickness.
Symptoms of AMS, such as fainting, headache, nausea, shortness of breath, and fatigue, are seen above 2000
meters in elevation. These signs and symptoms typically appear once you reach Namche or beyond it.
For mild cases, taking Diamox and getting a good night's sleep may help. drinking a lot of fluids (like soup,
water, or tea) and staying hydrated will also help you avoid getting sick. To avoid worsening the condition,
one should take the necessary precautions. However, if the symptoms persist, one may need to ascend again
and seek medical attention.
There are facilities at Lukla, Namche, and Pheriche that offer fundamental consideration for minor illnesses.
The patient will be flown to Kathmandu for treatment in the worst-case scenario as part of an air evacuation.
If left untreated or untreated, AMS can kill you.
Acclimatization is very important on a high-altitude trek like the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with
Helicopter Return. Your body needs time to adjust to the thin air, which it can do by resting at a lower
altitude before moving up.
For acclimatization, our experts have included two days in the schedule. Before continuing your trek, you will
spend additional days at Namche (3440 m) and Dingboche (4410 m) to successfully acclimatize.
The chart given below will give you a rough idea of the oxygen level in the atmosphere on the trail.

Drinking-Water

It is critical to keep your body hydrated on the path as drying out likewise causes AMS. Daily fluid intake
should be at least three to four liters.
We advise you to avoid purchasing bottled water because it contributes to the mountain thrashing issue. In
addition, bottled water, like everything else, is expensive in the mountains.
We highly recommend that you bring a hot-water-capable, reusable water bottle with you.
You can utilize one with a sterile pen or an inbuilt filtration framework like LifeStraw.
The water can also be treated with tablets that purify water. Despite the fact that mountain water typically
lacks contaminants, it is preferable not to take any chances and to filter or treat the water before drinking it.
Utilizing chlorine or iodine tablets to treat the water might adjust its taste. You can add enhanced electrolyte
powder (promptly accessible at drug stores in Kathmandu) to veil the harsh synthetic taste. The minerals
(sodium, potassium, magnesium, etc.) in your drinking water may also be beneficial when electrolytes are
added. You lose while strolling gets renewed.
Teahouses offer bubbled drinking water at an extra expense. It can cost anywhere from one dollar to four
dollars. You might have to pay around 1 USD for each liter or pot up until Namche (each teahouse uses a
different size pot). As you go up, the cost gradually goes up. At Gorak Shep, the price of boiled water is the
highest, at $4 USD.
Internet Connectivity
In spite of being the highest trekking trail in the world, the Everest Region does have access to the
internet—though it can be sporadic and inconsistent at times.
While trekking, you can update your loved ones and share photos and updates on social media. You can use
the Wi-Fi hotspot at (Hotel name), but you might have to pay extra if you want to use it at other lodges along
the way.
Purchasing internet data that could last you the entirety of your trip with a sim card (preferably from Ncell) in
Kathmandu will be less expensive and simpler. Up to Everest Base Camp (5364 meters), Ncell provides 3G
connectivity.
On the trail, paid internet access is also offered by Everest Link, another local internet provider. The
username and password are available for purchase at any of the teahouses or shops along the trail.
Packing Checklist for Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return
For an Everest adventure, you don't need a lot of complicated gear, contrary to popular belief. A basic list of
the essential items you should bring on your Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return is as
follows:

In Kathmandu, you can rent most of the gear for trekking. You can keep your stuff light by just pressing the
fundamental things and leasing or purchasing the rest in Kathmandu. Branded as well as locally produced
gear and equipment can be found in Thamel's shops.
Your additional luggage can be stored in the hotel's storage area. It is totally protected and free. However, do
make a point to lock your gear prior to leaving it at the capacity unit.
Guide(S) & Staff Arrangements
You will reach the world's highest trekking trail on the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return.
Having an accomplished nearby aide going with you will improve your excursion in such countless ways. You
will also stay safe and secure if you trek with a person who knows the mountain well.
We pair you up with one of our local guides when you book a trek with us. Every one of our aides has the
insight of over 10 years and has a piece of tremendous information on the area you are visiting. They have
successfully completed the trekking guide training program and hold the government-required license to
work as mountain guides. They are fluent in English and have received instruction in crisis management and
wilderness first aid.
The trek will be led by a chief guide or trek leader. There will be a personal assistant guide for every four
trekkers. Two customers' bags will be carried by a single porter. Because the porter can only carry 30
kilograms, make sure your luggage does not weigh more than 15 kilograms.
Our staff should be treated with respect. Every one of our Aides and Doormen are given climate-suitable stuff
and attire to fight the unforgiving climate in the mountains. Before the beginning of a journey, we guarantee
that our mountain guides are completely safeguarded. They are given fair wages and approached with
deference.
We strictly adhere to the IPPG (International Porter Protection Group) guidelines and assist porters in
developing additional skills. The children of our field staff are supported by a portion of the booking fee.

Travel Insurance

You need good travel insurance that covers all of the activities and altitudes on your itinerary for the EBC
Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return. Your travel insurance should cover you adequately up to a height of
5,550 meters, which is the highest point you can reach.
Even though your safety is our top priority, accidents and emergencies can still happen at this altitude. Since
there is less oxygen in the air, trekkers frequently contract acute mountain sickness, which can be fatal if not
treated promptly.
Additionally, walking in a dangerous mountain environment can result in physical injuries. As a result, check
to see if your insurance will pay for any injuries or emergency expenses that may arise during this trekking
adventure.
In the event of an accident or medical emergency, the cost of helicopter evacuation and hospitalization
should be specifically covered by your insurance policy. Check to see if you need to get vaccinated before you
leave your country, as some travel insurance policies require you to do so.
Be careful and don't forget to read the fine print before choosing a policy. Additionally, it would be
advantageous for you to select a company that provides insurance coverage for baggage theft or loss and
cancellation of domestic and international flights.
Trip Safety
Throughout the trip, we follow all safety procedures to ensure our client’s safety. This schedule has been
planned by movement specialists and veteran aides who have traveled on this course countless times.
The required number of rest days has been added to the itinerary to prevent AMS. Our aides generally
convey a medical aid unit and heartbeat oximeter (to quantify the oxygen level in your blood) with them. The
guides you've been given have been with the organization for more than ten years, so they know what to do
in an emergency. They are thoroughly prepared in wild medical aid and emergency board.
An assistant guide will escort a client who has symptoms of AMS and needs to descend to a lower elevation
and will follow the safety protocol. He will take the necessary measures to ensure the client's well-being and
closely monitor the client's condition.
After getting a good night's sleep, the guide will take the client back to the group so that they can join in. Be
that as it may, in the event that the condition deteriorates, the client will be accompanied down to Lukla or
get transported to Kathmandu for a master clinical guide.
A Typical Day on the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek with Helicopter Return
On a typical day on the trail, your guide will wake you up around six in the morning. Get ready and freshen
up. By 7 a.m., gather your belongings and make your way to the dining area for breakfast. Before you and
your guide set out for the trail at 8 a.m., make final checks on your luggage and top off your water bottle.
You get up early to avoid walking in the heat and take in the clear mountain views. There will be brief stops
along the way to take pictures and enjoy the views. Around noon or midday, you stop at a local teahouse for
lunch. You get back on the trail after a brief rest of about an hour and forty minutes, and you continue until
you reach your overnight stop.
You head to your luxury lodge or teahouse to check in and rest once you reach the overnight stop. At 5 p.m.,
tea and cookies or biscuits will be served as light refreshments.

Trade stories or play a game of cards with different travelers and Sherpas till supper is served (around 7 PM).
After supper, your aide will brief you about the following day's journey - the course you will take, the trouble,
where you will stop for lunch, and so on. After that, take some well-deserved rest before retiring for the
night.
You might have to walk for six to seven hours a day on average. The hike to Phakding is the shortest and
easiest, but the ninth-day hike from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp may be the most challenging. On Day 10,
there will be a hike to Kala Patthar to see the sunrise. Therefore, in order to reach Kala Patthar before
sunrise, you will need to get up before 4 a.m. During the briefing that takes place on Day 9 after dinner, your
guide will discuss the specifics of the hike.
Responsible Travel
Be responsible when you travel and try to minimize your impact on the environment. Be careful not to use
plastic and toss trash into the mountains. You will be supporting local communities when you trek with
us—from the guides and porters to the owners of teahouses. We, as an organization, support economically
the travel industry and disparage neighborhood organizations. In order to save the environment, we
collaborate with service providers. As a functioning individual from KEEP (Kathmandu Natural Schooling
Undertaking), we ensure that our excursions are harmless to the ecosystem.
